Yoshiko Green was born in Fort Lee, VA, lived in Petersburg, VA, then moved to Ettrick, VA when she was a teenager. A woman bound for greatness, working hard for everything she has, had a vision and is now Richmond VA’s leading lady! A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (1997) Yoshiko has devoted hours of her time counseling at-risk youths and adults. Yoshiko being involved in her community’s activities noticed a decline in entrepaneurship in the African American community. With her knowledge and ability to socialize, and network she seized an opportunity that could front line right in the heart of her community.
Known as Richmond’s Networking and Promo Vixxen, Yoshiko Entertainment founded the networking explosion Meet Yo Tweet September 2009 and had the first Meet Yo Tweet November 6th 2009 at Vision Ultra Lounge in Richmond, Va. Meet Yo Tweet is an event that allows entrepaneurs to network and socialize amongst each other, held every first Friday in Richmond, VA. Meet Yo Tweet has traveled to CIAA 2011 with other dates on the calendar. Yoshiko also manages a team of Meet Yo Tweet official DJ’s who travel with her. Yoshiko Entertainment provides promotional work for new/established businesses, artists, and music. Apart from her own business she also is a booking assistant for A & R Consultant Kevin Shine who is currently the CEO of The F.I.R.M. (Foundation for Innovative Resource Management), which is a resource for artists, songwriters, producers, personalities and companies who are interested in strategic consulting.
